a Property
or Project?
Please contact Roy before arranging anything other than the usual Methodist Church use of any property or premises, including: use by other groups and churches; renting; leasing; buying; selling; ceasing or changing use; repairs; replacement; alterations; electrical; water; gas or heating work.
Property Grants from the District may be available to support your project – visit our grants page for more: https://methodistsoutheast.org/grantinfo.php
Property Consents
There is an online Consent process for many of the projects which may need to be carried out on our buildings. Roy will happily guide you on whether your project requires consent. The Consents Flow Chart is a helpful reference document.
When submitting a project on the property consents site, we encourage you to answer the questions in the online forms as fully as possible, as this will help the District Property Consents Group fully understand your project and give consent as quickly as possible.
Your Superintendent has the necessary passwords to authorise people with responsibility for property in local churches and Circuits to access the Consents website.
More information about the Consents process can be found in “Getting Started” leaflet which can be downloaded below.
