Safeguarding Update: 5th Feb 2026

Our Regional Safeguarding Officer, Sarah Howell, is going to be off work for a few weeks, and therefore some training sessions and/or drop in’s have been cancelled or postponed, and cover arrangements put in place.

Training & Events

Our Training page has been updated to reflect the changes that have been made.

  • Drop in on 3rd March - cancelled.

  • Advanced Safeguarding Training on 24th March - cancelled and those booked onto it signposted to other courses offered across the safeguarding region.

  • A Face to Face session on Saturday 14th March WILL STILL GO AHEAD with another facilitator.

  • Workshop for MSG members on 11th Feb, postponed to a future date

  • safer recruitment briefing 3rd March, postponed to a future date
