A day of prayer for the Middle East - 21st September

Churches Together in England are encouraging all churches to take part in a Day of Prayer for the Middle East on Sunday 21st September, which is also the UN Day of Peace.

They encourage churches to hold a minute's silence and to pray for an immediate ceasefire, unfettered humanitarian access to Gaza, release of hostages and detainees, and a meaningful peace process.

The Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem has provided a prayer.
